The VDO Downloadkey II is a convenient and practical transport medium for downloading and archiving mass memory and driver card data. Driver card data can be downloaded from driver cards inserted in tachographs.

It features a 6-pin serial interface, which is compatible with all digital tachographs, and a USB 2.0 interface for transferring data quickly and reliably to a PC. The Downloadkey requires no separate power supply so it is always ready for use in vehicles and with PCs to make downloading data exceptionally straightforward.

To protect data from unauthorised access, a company card is required for data download.
