Facts about the 1 minute rule
The newest changes of legal regulations for usage of tachographs in the European Union come into effect from October 2011. The main focus of the legal changes on working out of the main issues, which users in this brand are confronted with.
The following applies for 1 calendar minute: The activity (DRIVING, WORK, AVAILABILITY or REST) shall be regarded as the longest continuous activity within the minute (or the latest of equally long activities).
Given a calendar minute, if DRIVING is registered as the activity of both the immediately preceding and immediately succeeding minute, the whole minute shall be regarded as DRIVING.
Du to the fact of further tasks the possibility is there, among other things 255 company specific data locks instead of existing 20, that the VRN in the operation mode "Company" has to be entered once and improved processes of manual entries most of the transportation agencies will appreciate the new legislation.
