Training

To ensure users are as well prepared as possible for optimal usage of the digital tachograph, we have developed specific training concepts for individual target groups in conjunction with its partners.

Our training program helps drivers as well as fleet managers, workshop specialists and authorities how to use, maintain and control the digital tachograph and how to work with the various supporting devices for example DLD® or TIS Web®. It also explains all the relevant EU regulations and their impact on the respective target group.

VDO offers drivers a special training product called DTCO Simulator Software which help to understand how the digital tachograph works:

DTCO Simulator Software

The tachograph simulator software is a novel training aid which encourages learning through practical hands-on experience. Supplied on CD, this innovative and intuitive interactive product simulates every key feature of digital tachograph use and operation for drivers, fleet managers and enforcement agency personnel alike. The software utilises high-end graphics throughout giving detailed and clear images in a popular and cost-effective training program. The software simulates various functions of digital tachographs including: inputting manual entries, driver log-in and log-off procedures, use of company card to lock in and lock out data plus much more.

New Version of DTCO Simulator Software will come in October 2009!

Local training in VDO locations across Europe
